M Fatima Tina Kelath from
India. |
Here's how
M Fatima Tina Kelath describes
Rolex :
Our best companion and friend in life. is a bundle of mischief and very, very intelligent. knows how to get its work done. a gem to my friends and wished they have a rolex too |
Does
Rolex 's behavior show the inherent
characteristics?
Yes, he is very much a dachshund. as his behavior indicates he is stubborn, he is so at times and a proud guy too. but he is dam friendly one he gets intro to my friends. |
Special Achievement of Rolex :
Yes would like to share. if we are a friendly type of human beings, the dog picks up this quality and will definitely be loved by all and yes we need to have patience with our pets and understand them. if you possess these qualities bingo you pet's wonderful too. |
M Fatima Tina Kelath's advice on what type of family should adopt
a :
I would recommend dachshunds to someone who loves pets of any kind and someone who could afford to spend time with doxies and people who need love, affection and companion as they dont have anybody else. hey you have all in pets so lets say forget human beings ok |
About
Hamish, The |
Hamish, a
Purebred was
adopted by
Jemima from
Australia. |
Here's how
Jemima describes
Hamish :
Extremely intelligent, dependant, loving, loyal, playful, spotty, adorable, friendly, often thinks he's human, very very strong. |
Does
Hamish 's behavior show the inherent
characteristics?
Yes he he needs a lot of attention, like other dalmatians. if he doesn't receive that, he digs holes, chews up things that shouldn't be chewed up and barks! |
Special Achievement of Hamish :
He believes he is human, and knows how to use a door handle. he loves to learn and knows several tricks (sit, stay, come, drop, "bang", roll over, shake, wave, beg, heel). hamish always has that "human look" in his eyes that says "hey, how come i'm not inside with the other people?" |
Jemima's advice on what type of family should adopt
a :
I don't think younger children would be so safe around such a large, strong breed of dog. you must have a lot of time on your hands to walk him regularly and give him plenty of attention. but the dalmatian is still a brilliant breed! |
About
Brendie, The |
Brendie, a
Purebred was
adopted by
Shelly Browning from
United States. |
Here's how
Shelly Browning describes
Brendie :
Fun loving, sweet, energetic, sassy, silly and sly. |
Does
Brendie 's behavior show the inherent
characteristics?
Yes, like other boston terriers, she is very hyper and has lots of energy. but she is loyal and picks up on your every emotion. |
Special Achievement of Brendie :
There is something in their eyes that melts your heart. even if they trash the house and pee in the same corner 50 times it's almost impossible to get upset at them. when they look up at you with those big eyes as if to say "i didn't mean to" |
Shelly Browning's advice on what type of family should adopt
a :
Boston’s are very versatile creatures they do well with families as well as singles. each has there own personality traits that you need to be aware of - you can usually tell a lot from the pups parents. most are very easy going but if there is terrier in them - well terror says it all ;) but you can't help but love them craziness and all!!! |
About
Button, The |
Button, a
Purebred was
adopted by
Alison Kamffer from
South Africa. |
Here's how
Alison Kamffer describes
Button :
A staffie of all staffies, hyperactive and excitable, but at the same time adorable and obedient. |
Does
Button 's behavior show the inherent
characteristics?
Definitely in terms of loving fun and loving people, but she started agility at the age of 4 and competed in basic agility until we moved too far away. she also learned excellent obedience, but was 'handicapped' competitively because she wasn't into ball retrieval! |
Alison Kamffer's advice on what type of family should adopt
a :
An active family who understand the staffies as a breed. they can be difficult with other dogs. |
About
Twinkie, The |
Twinkie, a
Purebred was
adopted by
Mariel Taboada from
Mexico. |
Here's how
Mariel Taboada describes
Twinkie :
Twinkie, my chihuahua is not a remarkable smart dog, but is as loyal and lovely as i like. if i take her out with me, she is very happy, but if i leave her at home, there is no problem, she is quiet and waits as much as needed. she is a great companion; wherever i go inside the house, she lies down close to me, even if it is cold and late, she waits until i finish to take her to bed at my own room. |
Does
Twinkie 's behavior show the inherent
characteristics?
I think so, as far as i have investigated, she is a lovely, happy, active and at the same time quiet doggie. i socialized here since puppy and is very friendly. |
Special Achievement of Twinkie :
Please, please, try to learn about the breed of your dog, or at least about dogs in general if it is mixed, for you will discover a wonderful, marvelous unknown world. that will allow you to educate and get along much, much better with your pet. |
Mariel Taboada's advice on what type of family should adopt
a :
Adults and teenagers, elder people, quiet ones, even handicaped people, but not families with children under 12. the chihuahua has to be understood to be a good company, and small children are busy learning about themselves to get enough "chihuahua's information". |
About
Icy, The |
Icy, a
Purebred was
adopted by
Kallol Bhattacharya from
India. |
Here's how
Kallol Bhattacharya describes
Icy :
Independent and affectionate, extremely playful, sharp memory, minimum in house problems. rarely, when she is alone ( her companion being a lab.) and she doesn't like it, she throws the house in a mess. when revoked, she snuggles under the sofa sits head down. |
Does
Icy 's behavior show the inherent
characteristics?
Yes, she represents a saint bernard. she is royal, extremely intelligent, has very sharp sense of smell. sniffs intermittently on pillows, cushions and soft fabric, reminding of saint bernard's rescuing abilities. |
Special Achievement of Icy :
Inspite of all that people say, this breed is a pleasure to be with. training takes time, but once trained for something a bernie will never violate it.
i massage my dog every day and she just enjoys it with her head down. she is addicted to it and i find this the best way to pacify her when she is at her demanding best.
|
Kallol Bhattacharya's advice on what type of family should adopt
a :
Ideal for a large family with children and at least one real dog lover to start with. a demanding dog for demanding families. |

About
Little Miss Bleuberree Angel M, The |
Little Miss Bleuberree Angel M, a
Purebred was
taken in by
Ruth from
United States. |
Here's how
Ruth describes
Little Miss Bleuberree Angel M :
Bleuberree angel is bleu in color with cream on her toes. she is very loving but has the tendency to get very irritated with her grandma and i {her momma} when we want to trim her nails or give her a bath. by far potty training was the hardest part of all and at times there are accidents still. the angry biting is an issue still for when bleuberree doesn't like what we are going to do the rage sets in. |
Does
Little miss bleuberree angel m 's behavior show the inherent
characteristics?
Some of this behavior i feel relates to the inherent breed of the chihuahua but yet some of it doesn't. like for instance the aggression. bleuberree angel wasn't taken care of like she was supposed to have been for the people left for 2 weeks when she was a baby and upon returning she had no food to eat nor did the mother or her other litter mates. they all had to fend for themselves. the person caring for them while these folks were gone wasn't kind with any of the animals at all either. at 7 weeks we got bleuberree angel and she was filled from head to toe with ringworms. bleuberree's grandma and i {her momma} right away called the vet and we got her in on saturday may 31, 2008, and found that had we waited there wouldn't have been anything the vet could have done for our precious little bleuberree angel. she was a very sick little lady from the time we got her on may 31, 2008 and just kept up the vigil of giving bleuberree angel all the tlc we could all the time and finally the results from the vet and her vet tech's came through that bleuberree angel was finally looking healthy for the first time in her little life. the part of getting bleuberree to eat like she is supposed to know is still being worked on now that we have her health issues in order. it will take time and patience on all of our parts. the best to come out of all of this is that bleuberree angel loves everyone she meets. she is not afraid of anyone. |
Special Achievement of Little Miss Bleuberree Angel M :
Bleuberree angel is one super special little lady who loves to smile big, dance, walk on her hind legs, waves an 'i'll see you later' wave, or curls her paws - depending on which paw bleuberree feels like using on that day - and pulls her paw towards herself wanting that person to 'come here please,' i would like to give you a kiss. bleuberree angel's two favorites are {1}her squeaky pineapple that she loves to bite on and bulldoze when pineapple squeaks, and {2}children of all ages. bleuberree angel thinks that she is as big as her four big brothers {1-whippet,1-part bleu heeler/australian shepherd,1-part collie/pyerinese and 1-full great white pyrinese} on the ranch. her brothers don't mind that she is the only female and tiny at that. she is spayed too. bleuberree voices her opinions when she feels they are needed too. |
Ruth's advice on what type of family should adopt
a :
Avid pet lovers that love small breeds and families that have children that are gentle and play gentle with chihuahua puppies. parents need to supervise their children around chihuahuas due to their tendency to snip at children when they pull the fur etc. should the family want a puppy that will own all of them as a family i suggest finding another breed since chihuahuas attach themselves to one person. like bleuberree angel is solely attached to me but will have something to do with her grandparents and other people as long as i am around her and or holding her. otherwise she gets very nervous and irritated and snaps at people. chihuahuas are fun to have around and have lots of tendencies to make their owners laugh too which is one of the best parts of owning a chihuahua. |
About
Lattimore, The |
Lattimore, a
Purebred was
adopted by
Eddie C. from
United States. |
Here's how
Eddie C. describes
Lattimore :
Very loveable, high energy when taken for walks but sort of chills out in the home.
likes to be pampered and always patient for his dinner.
everyone likes that his hair is all white and blends with the snow. |
Does
Lattimore 's behavior show the inherent
characteristics?
In no way! for being from the pit bull family lattimore is very affectionate to show love to everyone he meets by wanting them to pet him. he never, never, snaps at anyone or has bitten anyone not even a growl toward them. i have tried to show him and courage this behavior by commands and rewards with treats. he justs thinks everyone wants to play with him. i have never seen this in a pit bull breed.
when he plays with me he will not bit even playing around. |
Special Achievement of Lattimore :
Lattimore, likes to watch the animal channel especially when dogs are on, he'll look in the back of the tv to see if they are in the back.
when i move out of my old apt. i took him to the old apt. to see that it was empty and he walked out the door. that was to desensitize him so he would adjust to the new apartment and it worked. |
Eddie C.'s advice on what type of family should adopt
a :
Only those that are active in outdoor activities and also have time to walk them even when they get out of work. they can be excellent with kids if they are brought up as a puppy even with a cat but like i said from a puppy only. mature adults that take responsiblity with the overall health concerns and have time to interact to enforce good habits. |

Nancy Medlock describes
Cheyenne :
Cheyenne is intellegent,an excellent companion, friendly to all humans and a constant amusement. |

Cheyenne has the inherent dal characteristics of energy and intellegence. she makes her wants and needs known and is a quick learner. |

Nancy Medlock's advice on what type of family should adopt
a :
I would recommend a dalmatain be in a family who has the time and energy to keep up with the dog. they need attention. they are easily bored and need exercise. they are curious and love to be with their family. if raised with children, they are great kid dogs. |

Aragon (for Short - Gosha), The |
Aragon (for Short - Gosha), a
Purebred was
adopted by
Yuliya from
Ukraine. |
Here's how
Yuliya describes
Aragon (for Short - Gosha) :
The most devoted, intelligent and sympathetic friend i have ever known. |
Does
Aragon (for short - gosha) 's behavior show the inherent
characteristics?
I think his bright mind and quick reactions are inherited, but as to his ability to feel what i feel and forget his own needs for the sake of his master, they are absolutely unique. |
Special Achievement of Aragon (for Short - Gosha) :
My dog was killed by a hooligan last year/ i lost the friend i loved the most. these words are what i owe to him. you know, i have a severe diabetes since i was five. i was in koma twice because when the level of sugar in my blood lowered i didn't feel it while sleeping at night. these troubles sttopped with the appearance of gosha in our house. i don't know how, but he used to know that i was getting worse , he would start barking, getting nervous, ran to call for my family when he couldn't wake me up. actually, he saved my life several times. when i was unwell, he used to bring me his bone because he wanted to treat me with the most delicious food he had. i feel so sorry and so guilty that i was not able to help him. the injury was to bad and the vets didn't manage to save him. i know that i will never have such a friend again, and i don't want to. i just miss and still love gosha. |
Yuliya's advice on what type of family should adopt
a :
To anyone who is active and is ready to spend some time playing with your dog outdoors.these dogs are very active and agile, so the owner should be patient and persistent, especially at first.they have sense of humour and would be bored with a dull personality as their master. if you are out most of the day don't chose schnauzer: they need communication and will suffer alone.at least keep two pets in the house! |
