Does Pippa 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Pippa, my papillon, is a very social dog as she goes to work with me every day and interacts with all types and ages of people, even other dogs.
Special Achievement of Pippa :
Pippa was mated in november, her first litter at 16 months old we all looked forward to her little puppies arriving,Pippa was the runt of the litter so i was interested to see if she had a runt too,she is such a dainty little girl.one the 11th january Pippa went into labour right on time at 6 am ..my friend came over to be with her too,as time got closer we saw a head appear then a dear little puppy was born, but alas the darling little thing was deformed he had 2 stumps as front legs and his little heart was pumping so softly and slowly outside his little body he took 2 breathes then died, that was her only puppy, over the next few hours i saw a little dainty girl express her pain, sorrow and frustration in ripping her bed apart crying, whimpering and growling, who says animals dont feel heartache....i let her cuddle her little first born, she knew it was dead but i think she had hope..i took little ollie as we called him from her and placed him in a satin lined box i had kept in the wardrobe as we do,and we both said goodbye to a tiny little puppy we both wont forget..
Cheryl Webber's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
Young, old, anyone can own a loyal papillon like Pippa, they pick up on so many things..when to play, when to be quiet..and when to show love to a person who is suffering...

Molly, a Purebred was adopted by Jill Speechley from Australia.
Here's how Jill Speechley describes Molly :
Molly is a happy, energetic but well behaved labrador that just lives to go out horse riding with me. she is a true water dog.
Does Molly 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Molly is your true water dog and just loves to swim in every dam and puddle no matter what the weather is like. she is exactly what a labrador is supposed to be. she loves water, loves people and other dogs. she is happy to sleep all day but is ready for action when she sees me in my riding clothes or getting ready to go out for a walk. there is no chance of going riding or walking with out her. she is very intelligent and was very easy to obedience train. she is the only dog i've ever owned that wants to be bathed and is ready to hop up into her hydro bath the minute i give the command. she is also very food motivated like all true labradors!!!
Special Achievement of Molly :
Molly has learn't a few little tricks at doggy school. she can sit up and beg, shake hands, speak on command and will sit and wait for the command to eat her food. she has just started to learn how to bow. this dog will do anything for food treats!!!
Jill Speechley's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
I think that labradors are well suited for a family with children. they are happy dogs that love to play even when they get older. they are also dogs that like a lot of attention and mental stimulation. they can get bored and destructive if left alone for long periods of time with out things to keep them occupied. they are great for doing obedience training.

About Tubbs, The

Tubbs, a Purebred was adopted by Larry Jacobellis from United States.
Here's how Larry Jacobellis describes Tubbs :
There are so many things i want to say about Tubbs. he is a gentle soul full of love. they say all a pug wants to do is give love unconditionally and that his only request is that you reciprocate that that unconditional love. that is Tubbs. he has a terrific sense of humor and is an absolute joy. he is extremely playful and energetic. he always grrets you at night after coming home from day's work making you feel like the most important person in the world as he is always excited to greet you. Tubbs is a very special companion and i feel truly blessed to say that i know him.
Does Tubbs 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Tubbs as i have said has a gentle soul. the great thing about pugs in general is that you could put 100 pug owners in a room and they would all tell you that their pug is the greatest dog in the world and the love of their life and all 100 would be right. pugs are the gentlest and kindest breed going and Tubbs is all of that. i have read that pugs are the most even tempered breed of them all and i believe it.
Special Achievement of Tubbs :
I have already said plenty about what a special dog the Tubbster is. i am sure others have similar feelings about their dogs. ther is something special about a pug. they have a small body with a huge heart full of love.
Larry Jacobellis's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
Pugs love children and their isn't a better dog to have for a family especially with young children. as i say that the puig makes for a wonderful companion for anyone.

About Shea, The

Shea, a Purebred was adopted by Sherry Hicks from United States.
Here's how Sherry Hicks describes Shea :
The best
Does Shea 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Yes the fit there breed to a t. they are true gifts added to an home.
Special Achievement of Shea :
No matter what is going on in your lfe be it good or bad your dog will be there with you through it all. if you own a dog to put in your yard and say you own it. be kind and find it a good home that will make it a part of the family. your dog will find a way to thank you, for it.
Sherry Hicks's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
A family that is going to commit themselve's to adding another addition to thair fammaly. train it so the puppy will behave like the good boy or girl, they are. if you are not willing to make a commitment for a life time. then dont buy a dog. dogs are like kids they get into things. i support creat traing 100% make sure the dog ha acsess to water and food and all times. it is unrealistic to think a puppy 6 weeks to 12 weeks to not have a accedentin 8 to 10 hours. most of all this is a member of oyur family for the next 12 to 20 years.

The barking, yes.

They love being wherever you are, even the bathroom. they are so soft and cuddly, if they will sit still long enough. seems that only when they are tired and mellow, that they will snuggle in.
Sandra Priestap's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
They are now just pups, but small children or those who might not watch where they put their feet, would not be a good mix. i believe they might be best for adults who want companion dogs but who are able to take them for walks and use up their energy.

About Little Miss Bleuberree Angel M, The

Little Miss Bleuberree Angel M, a Purebred was taken in by Ruth from United States.
Here's how Ruth describes Little Miss Bleuberree Angel M :
Bleuberree angel is bleu in color with cream on her toes. she is very loving but has the tendency to get very irritated with her grandma and i {her momma} when we want to trim her nails or give her a bath. by far potty training was the hardest part of all and at times there are accidents still. the angry biting is an issue still for when bleuberree doesn't like what we are going to do the rage sets in.
Does Little miss bleuberree angel m 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Some of this behavior i feel relates to the inherent breed of the chihuahua but yet some of it doesn't. like for instance the aggression. bleuberree angel wasn't taken care of like she was supposed to have been for the people left for 2 weeks when she was a baby and upon returning she had no food to eat nor did the mother or her other litter mates. they all had to fend for themselves. the person caring for them while these folks were gone wasn't kind with any of the animals at all either. at 7 weeks we got bleuberree angel and she was filled from head to toe with ringworms. bleuberree's grandma and i {her momma} right away called the vet and we got her in on saturday may 31, 2008, and found that had we waited there wouldn't have been anything the vet could have done for our precious little bleuberree angel. she was a very sick little lady from the time we got her on may 31, 2008 and just kept up the vigil of giving bleuberree angel all the tlc we could all the time and finally the results from the vet and her vet tech's came through that bleuberree angel was finally looking healthy for the first time in her little life. the part of getting bleuberree to eat like she is supposed to know is still being worked on now that we have her health issues in order. it will take time and patience on all of our parts. the best to come out of all of this is that bleuberree angel loves everyone she meets. she is not afraid of anyone.
Special Achievement of Little Miss Bleuberree Angel M :
Bleuberree angel is one super special little lady who loves to smile big, dance, walk on her hind legs, waves an 'i'll see you later' wave, or curls her paws - depending on which paw bleuberree feels like using on that day - and pulls her paw towards herself wanting that person to 'come here please,' i would like to give you a kiss. bleuberree angel's two favorites are {1}her squeaky pineapple that she loves to bite on and bulldoze when pineapple squeaks, and {2}children of all ages. bleuberree angel thinks that she is as big as her four big brothers {1-whippet,1-part bleu heeler/australian shepherd,1-part collie/pyerinese and 1-full great white pyrinese} on the ranch. her brothers don't mind that she is the only female and tiny at that. she is spayed too. bleuberree voices her opinions when she feels they are needed too.
Ruth's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
Avid pet lovers that love small breeds and families that have children that are gentle and play gentle with chihuahua puppies. parents need to supervise their children around chihuahuas due to their tendency to snip at children when they pull the fur etc. should the family want a puppy that will own all of them as a family i suggest finding another breed since chihuahuas attach themselves to one person. like bleuberree angel is solely attached to me but will have something to do with her grandparents and other people as long as i am around her and or holding her. otherwise she gets very nervous and irritated and snaps at people. chihuahuas are fun to have around and have lots of tendencies to make their owners laugh too which is one of the best parts of owning a chihuahua.

About Shasta, The

Shasta, a Purebred was rescued by Joanne from United States.
Here's how Joanne describes Shasta :
Sweet, lovable and like a child......loves to please.
Does Shasta 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
I am not sure whether his traits are typical to alaskan malamutes. but he is chews constantly. i want him to be a house dog....but he chews up anything that he can get his mouth on. he loves to chew on me as well. i have corrected him and put chew toys in his mouth......does not help. the kong does not help..i need help! he chews in front of us and without us. a crate would only end up as a punishment i fear and that is not good. even sitting on the couch while we pet him, he is looking for something to chew. it is bad!
Special Achievement of Shasta :
He does not meet a stranger. he loves attention.....cannot get enough. i recommend that you get one as a pup to avoid any unwanted behaviors early.
Joanne's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
One who will allow him to be a part of the family. they are not thropies to be placed in the yard and left alone.
