About Stormy, The

Stormy, a Purebred was adopted by Ray from United States.
Here's how Ray describes Stormy :
She is the absolute best dog i've ever had! i've had many breeds from guard dogs to other terriers, but she is by far the most loyal, intelligent, and loving dog... period. she loves to hunt squirrels and absolutely never fatigues. she constantly loves to be by my side during walks, and i have enough space to allow her off lead. she is "well" trained... i repeat "well" trained. i've spent a lot of time with her, but let it be known that it takes quite a bit of time to get them to buy in who the alpha is.
Does Stormy 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Yes. she is totally a parson russell terrier. her characteristics match the breed instinctively. she is alert but can often show signs of defiance. the alpha can never show signs of weakness when granting orders to this breed or the dog can definitely sense the open window.
Special Achievement of Stormy :
I love her to death! any parson russell owner will tell you how overly affectionate this breed is. i love my dog. =)
Ray's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
I recommend someone that is strong willed, dominant, patient, kind, forgiving, loving, energetic, and passionate. that's the beginning you may need more attributes. *smiles

About Kaiser, The

Kaiser, a Purebred was adopted by Mary from United States.
Here's how Mary describes Kaiser :
He is the best dog in the world. we have pretty much always had small dogs, and my son wanted a large breed. after researched various breeds, we decided on getting a bull mastiff.
Does Kaiser 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Yes, he has a lot of the characteristics such as: he snores, loves to be cuddled, is very stubborn, but at the same time wants approval. luckily he doesn't drool often, extra right after he gets a drink. he is very spoiled, and would love to take over the role of "pack leader" if i let him.
Special Achievement of Kaiser :
My dog is better than your dog. ;) i imagine that most bull mastiff owners would agree that once you have a bully you can't imagine life without one. i wished that i would have gotten one sooner than i did. i really didn't know about the breed, and would have never guessed them to be so sweet, cuddly, and loving.
Mary's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
People that want their new dog to be part of the family. if you have an over active schedule that doesn't allow dogs, i don't think a bull mastiff is for you. bull mastiffs are great dogs, but they are not for everyone. if you furniture is more important than your pet, don't get a bull mastiff. if you are not going follow through on training, playing, and taking time for your dog - don't get a bull mastiff. they really do need their families.

Does Rocky 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
From everything i'm reading,absolutely!!!
Special Achievement of Rocky :
If you're looking into getting another dog, a min-pin is a small dog with a big attitude. definately a wonderful choice. try however to adopt a dog first, as there are so many deserving souls out there awaiting a loving home.....
Lynne Cheslin's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
I feel older children. definately people with a laid-back type attitue.be slow moving and easy sounding(with whatever dog you might get)...it goes far with love and respect.

They are very small and white with brown spots. to me they are the cutest and sweetest dogs on the earth
Does Lily and maggie 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
I never had chihuahuas before we got lily, but from what i have learned from books. everyone in my house except me calls lily a little snob and and a little on the bosses side. but to me she just stands up for herself and knows she is special.maggie is completely difference.
Special Achievement of Lily And Maggie :
Both of my kids have left home, and i like so many other people felt lost until they came into my life. they go everywhere with me and my husband. we almost lost maggie 2 weeks ago. she likes to eat dirt. it took three days in the hospital and almost two thousand dollars to save her.and we still can't stop her. she just a little mess. we have classic cars and they go to every show with us, they seem to know they get more attention then the cars do, but they love it.
Susan's advice on what type of family should adopt a :

About Murphy, The

Murphy, a Purebred was rescued by Miranda from United States.
Here's how Miranda describes Murphy :
Murphy had several homes before he came to live with us. the first home the lady had health issues and could not longer afford him the attention he needed. the second home he was used mainly for stud..and apparently they had too many scotties and they chose to get rid of murphy. so i got a phone call asking me if i would take him. as i am the owner of five scottish terriers ages nine to fifteen years old. we could not have been happier to have rescued him. he is a happy high spirited little guy that just can not give us enough kisses and love. he has really been a bright spot in our life.
Does Murphy 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Murphy is a clown and a tad hyper at times. he barks to alert when strangers are around..and is very alert and inquisitive.he is happy and greets each day like it was his first day on earth. everyone that meets this little guy falls in love with him.
Special Achievement of Murphy :
I would like to share the fact that scottish terriers are very prone to bladder cancer. research has been show that feeding leafy vegetables reduce this risk. instead of cheap dog snacks you should start your scottie off on snacks such a carrots..murphy loves carrots. thus reducing his risk of cancer and adding to his health.
Miranda's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
I would advise people that they are very much a part of the family, not to be kept by people that are away from home most of the time. they do require grooming to keep their coats in top shape and this takes time. they are however independent dogs..and strong willed. but you will never find a more loyal friend. they will sit by you while you are watching televison..but they will also be ready to play the second you are..they tend to pick up their owners moods.although you will hear tales of how snappy they can be..i have had seven scotties and never found this to to true. all small children should respect any dog and not attempt to hurt it. my scotties were raised with my son who has autism..and they were wonderful with him. treat him with respect and you will be rewarded with a lifetime of devotion.

Shayla's advice on what type of family should adopt a :

Does Raisin 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Yes, so far. we got him for my 4 yr old daughter and thus far his breed characteristics are dead on. we couldn't do without him.
Special Achievement of Raisin :
Not so much share but ask about the life expectancy. 10 yrs is such a short time to have such a wonderful companion. any advice would be appreciated. would recommend a sharpei to anyone who has children. he's a big part of our family.
