About King Brutus Of Comstock, The

King Brutus Of Comstock, a Purebred was adopted by Katie Prelewitz from United States.
Here's how Katie Prelewitz describes King Brutus Of Comstock :
O
Does King brutus of comstock 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
He will locate any turd or carcass in a mile radius anywhere we take him. he acts afraid of you and creeps up w/ head low and then sprints at you when he's close and slobbers all over you. his howl or bay is earth shattering loud, you will know when you have company, but, is not protective at all.
Special Achievement of King Brutus Of Comstock :
Are your couches smeared shiney too? when he shakes his head his jowels release a shower of drool. you have to take cover! and toys??? stuffed animals last 5 min max. he'll kill a pig ear in 3 min, eats 4 bowls a day, and will polish a large rawhide in one sitting. it's like having a semi-tame bear living in my house.
Katie Prelewitz's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
There is no preparing for this. you must have property or walk daily or your home will pay the price! extremely affectionate, but comes off as intrusive b/c of massive size and drool that resembles (you know what) all over your clothes and couches and random missiles all over the walls. better have some $$$ for vet bills, these dogs get into everything!!!!! and eat and eat etc... poop? let's not go there.

Does Bentley and bella 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Yes, our weims love to sleep in bed and truly exemplify the 'velcro' dog behavior as suggested for weims. they follow us everywhere like 'mini-humans'. they are true pointers and are extremely intelligent. they don't miss a trick.

About Yogi Bear, The

Yogi Bear, a Purebred was adopted by Jeannie Hodgkiss from United States.
Here's how Jeannie Hodgkiss describes Yogi Bear :
Yogi is the most happy and loving dog i have ever had. he lives to be petted and to have his ears rubbed.
Does Yogi bear 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Yes, he is all the traits of the rottweiler breed. however, many times we see them in the media only when they do something that is negative or harmful to others. my goal is to let the general public know what wonderful, friendly, loving dogs they can be.
Special Achievement of Yogi Bear :
Yogi and i are a pet therapy team. we have been registered with the tdi, inc. therapy organization. last summer we were involved with the childrens reading program at our local library. that is a program where children sign up for a 15 minute time period to read to yogi. he does not correct or critize their reading. the children love having him be so accepting and he enjoys all the attention he gets from them. we also do extensive nursing home work. the residents love to pet and hug " their bear dog." we are just getting involved with hospice patients and we will see how that goes. to see the interaction he has with everyone warms my heart.
Jeannie Hodgkiss's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
A family that has children or not, is not a factor through my experience. i would recommend getting a puppy so he does assume that children will be part of his life. the key thing i believe is getting the puppy socialized and used to being around people. dogs are not perfect all the time. they require dicipline and consistincy. if you do not believe in those 2 things. don't get a rottweiler, they will run your house. i think an experienced dog owner would enjoy this breed a lot more than a first timer.

About Roy & Sadie, The

Roy & Sadie, a Purebred was adopted by Nathalie from United States.
Here's how Nathalie describes Roy & Sadie :
When i went to a groomer in rhode island, she told me to use a flea comb to groom my schnauzer. that was over 10 years ago and i find this the best way to keep tangles out of Roy & Sadie's coats and they love it! it works much better than any brush. of course, i do this often so they don't get any painful tangles.

Does Ice 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Ice is very bouncey when playing and very energetic loves pulling me on my bike we go about 30mph when travleing onb my bike its so cool.
Special Achievement of Ice :
Every time i walk down the street someone stops and tells me how lucky i am to have a siberian husky with such good marking his markings are worth over £1000
Joyce's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
A family what has alot of time to spend with their huskie because they love attention and hate being on thier own (they normaly howl or pine when left alone)

A family with teenage children

About Lucy, The

Lucy, a Purebred was rescued by Jimmy Porter from United States.
Here's how Jimmy Porter describes Lucy :
This breed of dog requires a special family. the dog needs to be walked almost every day as it becomes bored easily. it never walks, but runs everywhere with its nose down, close to the ground. as you watch him at the end of a long leash you will see him change direction based on his nose, rather than sight. so far i cannot trust my hound. when it is quiet, i know something is being chewed, torn up or destroyed. out foster dog has tore our house up and made our back yard look like a bomb exploded. things are chewed and broken.
Does Lucy 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Yes and no. with proper training this dog will be beautiful, but he needs someone who likes this high energy dog. we are retired and it is hard upon us, but if we take him to the pound he is dead for sure.
Special Achievement of Lucy :
Would some one like to adopt this dog?
Jimmy Porter's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
A rancher.
