About Pucka, The

Pucka, a Purebred was adopted by Sandra Walker from United States.
Here's how Sandra Walker describes Pucka :
The most lovable and demonstrative, predictable, playful, funny and sensitive dog i have owned. there isn't one person i know that objects to puckas presence in their home. good with all animals, children and adults. she loves to travel in boats, planes trains and cars. she is very high maintainance with all the brushing and efforts to keep her hair long, clean and white, but never once has complained. but, a very picky eater. best of all she is not a barker.
Does Pucka 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
I believe so. i just never have met a more sweet and dependable and cute one than her. i am sure they are out there.
Special Achievement of Pucka :
They are so easy to train. they just respond to positive reinforcement. i have never had to scold her. she love the snow as long as she is dressed warmly otherwise she won't play and frolic in it. she doesn't tolerate real hot and humid days well. she has a sensitive stomach and really has to be kept on a controled good diet. if she does get sick she goes down fast and needs fast care. one has to stay away from all carpet sprays, etc and any air pollutants or garden pestisides. i have a parrot she loves to play with but must vacuum daily due to it's dander and her sensitivity to it.
Sandra Walker's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
She is good with absolutely everybody. even people that are sold on large breed animals, love her. i take her everywhere.

He goes to the beat of his own drum
Does Not-cho dog 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
To a degree he does tend to forget any training he has had when the mood moves him
Special Achievement of Not-cho Dog :
He is a verey sweet guy who loves to play. he loves to cuddle. he isn't your normal yappy little dog he hardly ever barks. i just love him.
Sandra's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
People who need a friend that they can love.

Dakota is tall and lean. beautifully marked with a brown head and ears, speckled coat of greyish brown and light grey with a well marked brown sadle. he is very gentle and warm disposition.
Does Dakota 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
We are having trouble housebreaking him. he is guessed to be 2 years old. but acts like he has been badly mistreated. jumps at every noise. he has made up with my husband and i now. but sometimes still seems afraid of us. i have been trying to read everything i can find about this breed.
Special Achievement of Dakota :
He is very special to us. i am sure as time goes on we will find a lot a special things.
Joann's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
They say, even though they were bred to be hunters, german shorthaired pointer makes a good family dog, too. that is what he will be in our home

About Bosco ( Stordansk Awsum Bosco), The

Bosco ( Stordansk Awsum Bosco), a Purebred was adopted by Sarah Turnewitsch from Australia.
Here's how Sarah Turnewitsch describes Bosco ( Stordansk Awsum Bosco) :
Bosco is a four year old great dane
Does Bosco ( stordansk awsum bosco) 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Bosco is a true great dane, totally unaware of his huge size, enthusiastic but inherantly gentle. this sometimes creates interesting situations for example his desire to play with other dogs, but they (and their owners) can be put of by such a big bouncing dog coming toward them! like all great danes bosco thinks he is a "lap" dog and is happiest when trying to sit on your lap to be cuddled and petted.
Special Achievement of Bosco ( Stordansk Awsum Bosco) :
The fact that there is nothing quite like the great dane. bosco is a full time job... but the reward of his devotion is worth every minute. it is such a special moment when we are out for a walk and bosco refuses to go another step, sitting down and leaning up against me to be patted and hugged, with a look that just tells me how happy he is to be with me.
Sarah Turnewitsch's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
Great danes need plenty of attention, they are quite an emotional dog. good family dogs, but i would recommend that either dane and children grow up together, or an older dane with children. size wise an excitable dane pup and small child might not be the best mix. you dont need to be active to own a dane (they certainly arent) but they are very strong so its a wise investment to spend the time when they are young to train then well.

Here's how Margaret French describes Albert :
Cheekly little fellow full of bounce and full of energy knows how to make you smile when he does something he shouldn't
Does Albert 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Not sure realy, i guess so. it could be because he is the baby of the family at the moment and knows it, or know's we are a soft touch for those big brown eyes
Special Achievement of Albert :
Albert loves to play, he likes to bite and although it's ok now i am certain it won't be ok as he gets older. he loves to bite the tail of my other dog sid and cat jake, they don't think this is very funny at all. sid is very good with albert, sid is a x with a minature poodle and a terrier all white in colour and very hansome, i realy do love my pets

Those who love to have large dogs. those who are ready to do whatever for their dog. they should not keep their dogs for pride. the doggie should become a member of their family just as our's

Does Muggins 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Yes, i researched the breed before i got him, but yours was the only true description of the breed-my last dog was a rescue greyhound-a sweet little female-this is my first male dog-and my first terrier..his hunting instincts are strong--altho he is a big chicken at heart-
Special Achievement of Muggins :
Be forewarned if you choose a terrier..
Carolyn's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
Someone on a farm--my dog was 10 months old when i got him and had never been socialized-which has been at the root of my problems...

Yes because although he is too friendly he likes to chase people and try to grab their arms but just in a playful wall and he is very brainy and loves to help out with everything from finding things for me to cheering me up when i am feeling down
Special Achievement of Diesel :
When we went to the rescue shelter to pick him he jumped right up on the cage door whining and we put our hands through anf he was licking them frantically. not entirely special but i guess it works. lol
Jojo's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
Someone who has lots of energy to give them a lot of exercise both mentally and physically. someone who needs help with things such as helping to do things. and someone who has lots of time to spend training it because they can become difficult to handle if not treated correctly.

Does Mukluks 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Yes. siberian huskies are genetically born to pull sleds from the chukai indians in the northern part of russia, in siberia, which is where their name comes from.

Kaci is a very independent baby. she is five years old. i purchased her from a breeder. when i went to choose the pup i wanted kaci was standing alone apart from her siblings. i knew then she was the one for me. she can be selfish when it comes to getting attention. when she sees me interacting with my daughter she doesn't let me forget about her by sitting between us. god forbid if we try to bring another dog in the house she let's us know in no uncertain terms that she is the only baby that will be living in our home.
Does Kaci 's behavior show the inherent characteristics?
Yes. kaci can be very sweet and playful, but she can also let us know when she needs her space. also she doesn't like to be left alone.
Special Achievement of Kaci :
When i come home from work she puts her front paws around my waist. when i look into her eyes i see so much love. i can't imagine life without her.
Lynnetta Blackwell-brown's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
A family with teenagers because kaci doesn't like sharing the baby status.

absolutely
Special Achievement of Simoneami :
My dog is a bright light in my life. i have ms and she gives me a reason to get up every morning and start moving, also to walk her. i wonder what i did with my time before she came to live with me. as soon as i saw her picture on line i knew we were going to be best friends. no matter who she meets, she always looks to me for approval. she has found her forever home.
Lylea Parlour's advice on what type of family should adopt a :
Someone that stays home, and doesn't work. a retired person. a person that lives alone. tolerates children, but is not realy fond of them. has developed the habit of barking at everything that moves outside.. when she first arrived she was so thin we could feel her back bone and ribs. now she gets so many doggy treats she has a tendancy to get a little pudgy.
